Travel Darjeeling - More Than Just a Trip

Travel services

Everything between the first message and the last transfer, handled as one piece of work rather than a scattered set of bookings.

What we handle

Planning, bookings and the parts people forget

Exact scope is confirmed for each trip when you enquire, so you always know what is being arranged and what is not.

Customised Tour Packages

Rather than fitting you into a fixed departure, the itinerary is drawn up from your travel dates, the number of days you can spare and the kind of trip you want. Nights, sightseeing and driving days are balanced so the plan is realistic on the ground.

  • Day-wise plan shared before anything is confirmed
  • Route adjusted for families, seniors or first-time visitors
  • Revisions until the plan makes sense to you

Hotel Booking Assistance

Accommodation is suggested with the trade-offs made clear - a view-facing room further from the market, or a central property without the view. Options are shared with names and categories so you know exactly what is being booked.

  • Options shared with names, category and location
  • Room categories and meal plans confirmed in writing
  • Alternatives held where availability is tight

Cab & Transportation

Transport is arranged with vehicles suited to hill roads and to the size of your group, and with drivers who work these routes regularly. Where a route requires a registered local vehicle - North Sikkim, Tsomgo, the Silk Route - that is arranged as part of the plan.

  • Airport and railway station transfers
  • Point-to-point or full-trip vehicle
  • Registered vehicles for permit-controlled routes

Sightseeing Planning

Sightseeing in the hills is decided by driving time more than by distance. Days are sequenced so that early-morning viewpoints, mid-day drives and late-afternoon stops fall in the right order, and so that you are not doubling back across the same ridge.

  • Realistic distances and timings
  • Early-morning viewpoints planned properly
  • Free time deliberately left in the plan

Permit Assistance

North Sikkim, Tsomgo Lake, Nathula and the Old Silk Route all sit in permit-controlled areas. We handle the paperwork alongside the local operators, and tell you in advance exactly which documents and photographs to carry.

  • Protected Area Permit guidance for North Sikkim
  • Tsomgo and Nathula permit coordination
  • Clear document checklist before you travel

Permits are issued by the relevant government authority. Approval, timing and access always rest with them.

Honeymoon Packages

Honeymoon plans are built lighter than standard sightseeing tours - fewer stops per day, later starts where possible, and accommodation picked for the view and the quiet rather than proximity to the market.

  • Slower day plans with time built in
  • Stay preferences noted at the planning stage
  • Private vehicle throughout

Family & Group Tours

Travelling with parents, children or a large group changes what a good itinerary looks like. Driving days get shorter, stops get closer together, and vehicle and room configurations are worked out before anything is confirmed.

  • Shorter driving days for seniors and young children
  • Vehicle sized to the group, not the other way round
  • Multi-room and connecting-room requests handled

Pickup & Drop

Transfers from New Jalpaiguri, Bagdogra or New Mal are planned around your actual arrival and departure times, including the early-morning departures that hill trips usually end with.

  • NJP, Bagdogra and New Mal transfers
  • Driver details shared before arrival
  • Return timings planned around your departure

On-Trip Assistance

Plans change in the hills - a road closes, weather turns, a permit is delayed. Having one point of contact through the trip is what makes those changes manageable rather than stressful.

  • One contact for the whole journey
  • Reachable on call and on WhatsApp
  • Re-sequencing handled when conditions change
