Dooars Nature Tour

Forest, river bed and tea garden - Gorumara and Jaldapara safaris with quiet riverside nights at Murti.

3 Nights / 4 Days Dooars Family Friends Nature
Overview

About this trip

The Dooars is a different kind of trip from the hills - flatter, greener, slower, and built around forest timings rather than sightseeing lists. This plan keeps the two main safaris, adds the quieter forest villages above Samsing, and leaves plenty of unstructured time by the river. It suits families with children and anyone who wants a genuinely restful few days.

Trip highlights

  • Jeep safari in Gorumara National Park
  • Jaldapara safari for the one-horned rhinoceros
  • Chapramari and the Murti river bed
  • Samsing and Suntalekhola forest drive
  • Riverside stay away from the crowds
